The Chairman of the Parliament, David Bakradze and the members of the parliamentary majority expressed their deep sorrow and condolence due to the death of the President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, his wife and other officials of Poland, in the Book of Condolence, opened in the Palace of Youth. The Ambassador of Poland was receiving condolences.
"It is not a tragedy only for Poland; it is a tragedy for entire Europe, especially for our country - as there was perished a person, who was great supporter of Georgia. He, during his entire life, was protecting and struggling for Georgia's independence and security. Today, the European leader, who was constantly supporting Georgia in everything, is not alive any more, "- stated David Bakradze.
The Chairman of Parliament and the MPs decorated with flowers the photo of Lech Kaczynski and his wife. The citizens of Georgia can express their sympathy and sorrow due to the death of the President of Poland to the Polish people today, till the evening.
The Eleventh of April is declared as mourning day in Georgia due to the tragic death of the President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, his wife and the Polish officials.
