The leader of the movement Protect Georgia, Levan Gachechiladze may run for Tbilisi mayor; though Gachechiladze said he was surprised with learning the news from TV, according to informal reports he will be nominated as the candidate of the mayor for the upcoming self-government elections by the political party Movement For United Georgia, led by fugitive Georgian minister of defence Irakli Okruashvili.
When questioned about the report, Gachechialdze said nothing was ruled out.
Neither have the representatives of the fugitive minister`s party confirmed the report so far.
