Prime Minister Vlad Filat appreciated the statements by European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso related to the completion of negotiations on Moldova's association agreement with the European Union in 2013, according to the government's communication and press relations department.
Filat highlighted Jose Manuel Barroso's statement made during an annual conference of the EU heads of delegations in Brussels, referring to the completion of negotiations on the association agreement with the EU until the 3rd Summit of Eastern Partnership due in 2013.
Filat said that Barroso's statement confirms the accuracy of the actions taken by the Moldovan government.
"The statement is very trenchant and exact, and I think that nobody has the right to interpretations on the matter. It is a very important thing when the European Commission President is speaking about the completion of negotiations until the Eastern Partnership Summit. I can describe this statement as appreciation of the work carried out in Chisinau. We have to enjoy the statements, and to understand that we should work in the same pace as over the past three years or even better", Filat noted.
