Georgia's eastern region of Kakheti is preparing for 2012 vintage - grapes harvesting.
In Akhalsopeli village the locals have mainly Saperavi grapes. They say that presumably will get 1000 GEL in one ton of Saperavi.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili arrived in Kakheti region and got familiarized with the preparatory works for the vintage. He took part in grape-picking process.
President ordered the head of the coordinating staff to control crops gathering process personally and works of procession factories.
