/UKRINFORM/. Natural gas transit via Ukraine's territory made up 54 billion cu m since the beginning of 2012. Therefore, Ukraine cut gas transit by 22.9% against the same period of 2011 (70.943 billion cu m).

"At the same time, all bids of consumer countries were completely fulfilled, 5.4 billion cu m of natural gas has been transported in August," the company statement reads.
Over 31 billion cu m was transported to Ukrainian consumers over eight months of this year - 94% of the previous year indexes.
Natural gas transportation to CIS countries is at the level of 172 billion cu m a month.
Over eight months of 2012, import of Russian natural gas to Ukraine reduced by 34% against the same period of the previous year and made up 21.5 billion cu m.
