The Georgian Parliamentary Committee of Education and Science today will discuss amendments to be made to the Law on Cinematography.
According to the proposed amendments, all cinema halls across Georgia will be obliged to show films accompanied by Georgian subtitles.
Those cinema halls, which violate the law, will have to pay a fine in the amount of 1,500 GEL for the first time, 3,000 - for the second time, and 10, 000 - for the third time.
