The results of the parliamentary elections in Terjola constituency remain vague as the district commission failed to take decision after the dispute inside and outside. The activists of the Georgian Dream coalition, rallied outside the commission until two members of the GD called on them to disassemble vowing to protect each vote at the law court. They said the discussion of the results would be moved to the court adding that holding rallies were no longer necessary.
Dispute around the election results in Terjola began on Wednesday morning as the results showed the National Moved was leading in the polls. The activists of the GD broke down the door of the building where the commission was discussing the issue of nullifying the results of election at N49 district of Terjola. It was a special precinct where the military servicemen went to vote. Opposition said the officers had no right to vote for majoritarian MP candidate, but they did vote. The tension increased after the opposition members of the commission walked out of the session in the evening.
