Interior Minister of Georgia has handed over an apartment to the family of the late officers of the Constitutional Security Department, Davit Avaliani, who died in the Georgia-Russia war in August 2008. The police officer has wife and two children, who did not have a house so far. The representatives of the Isani-Samgori district, Tbilisi, have also visited the family of the late police officer and presented them with computer and other gifts.
Eleven police officers died in the Georgia-Russia August war in 2008. Three of them are considered lost, because the Georgian side failed to find their bodies. The Interior Ministry says the families of all eleven policemen will be presented with apartments in Tbilisi.
