(ARMENPRESS). Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan within the framework of the Global Nuclear Security Summit met yesterday with the US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton. Presidential press office told Armenpress that the interlocutors discussed prospects of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. The US Secretary of State reiterated the call of US President Barack Obama to continue the process of normalization of relations between the two countries without pre-conditions.
Serzh Sargsyan and Hilary Clinton discussed Armenian-American bilateral relations as well as issues on the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework OSCE Minsk Group.
On the same day Serzh Sargsyan met with the member of the US Congress Adam Schiff. During the conversation Serzh Sargsyan thanked the congressman for the efforts directed toward the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in US Congress as well as support displayed toward Armenia and Artsakh.
