Mindia, Abashidze, Georgian corporal died in Afghanistan while performing his peaceful mission. Georgia's Defense Ministry and Georgia's President expressed condolence to the family of the Georgian soldier.
Abashidze has served in armed forces since August 4, 2008. He was head of the third infantry battalion of ground forces. The soldier served in ISAF mission in Afghanistan in 2010-11.
