Several flights to the European states from Tbilisi have been cancelled and delayed due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland. The ash of the volcano has covered the airspace of Europe.
Flights across much of Europe are being cancelled. Hundreds of thousands of passengers are affected and severe disruption could extend into the weekend, including on flights to North America and Asia.
Approximately 6,000 flights in Europe`s airports were cancelled on Thursday as airspace from the Ireland to Finland was closed.
