An international conference on the role of museums in the society’s development was opened earlier today in Tbilisi. The conference is organized by the Georgian Ministry of Culture, Monuments Protection and Sports.
Leading specialists from various European and Caucasus countries are participating in the conference. They will share their experience in the museum affairs with their Georgian colleagues that is said to contribute to the transformation of Georgian museums into modern standards.
