The Central Election Commission of Georgia has presented the final results of the voter list monitoring. According to the report, 149,000 confirmed facts of inaccuracy have been corrected. 133,000 of the total number of irregularities were revealed by the CEC monitoring, while 16,000 - under the violations found by various political parties.
19,815 of the irregularities referred to the names of the voters, 33,766 - to family names, 24,284 0- to the birth dates, 55,094- to addresses, 63 cases - unreal voters registered at one and the same address, 225 - cases of doubled data of one voter, 2,825 - dead voters were among the eligible voters.
According to the monitoring, the total number of the voters is 3,580,487.
11 qualified and several volunteer organizations were involved in the monitoring process of the voter list. The process of the monitoring was funded from state budget with 1,200,000 GEL.
