The Georgian parliamentary oppositional "Christian-Democratic Movement" (CDM) Party will have a 95-year-old candidate Mikheil Khardzeishvili in Vake district of Tbilisi for Sakrebulo (City Council) in the forthcoming local self-governance elections scheduled for May 30 in Georgia.
Khardzeishvili worked as Chemistry teacher during 70 years in Vani, Imereti region. He is a WWII veteran. He has Orders of Honor and Gorgasali Medal. The CDM representatives awarded their candidate with a special medal in connection with May 9, Victory Day over Nazi Germany
