Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili met with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku. The two leaders discussed cooperation issues and plans for future cooperation. Saakashvili and Aliyev emphasized the meaning of the Karsi-Akhalkalaki railway. They said this sector of the railway had decisive importance for both countries.
The two presidents, along with representatives of the Club de Madrid and the International Center of Nizami Ganjavi, as well as over 400 high level experts, scientists and civil society representatives will take part in the first South Caucasus Forum on Inclusion in Baku. Saakashvili has attended the opening event of the forum, where President Aliyev delivered a speech.
According to the organizers of the event, the participants will address democracy-related issues like inclusion, shared societies and women's economic, social and political empowerment.
