Two injured students of the third-year of the ECM, Irakli Jakonia and Avtandil Abesadze are still in critical condition with numerous traumas on their heads and bodies. Both of them were hospitalized to Ghudushauri clinic in Tbilisi after successful rescue operation on Zedazeni monastery. The incident occurred at 6 p.m. yesterday. The team of the students was on excursion to Zedazeni monastery, when one of them saw his cell phone fell in a ravine. He and his friend tried to get down the ravine, but apparently, they were drunk and failed to keep balance. The two fell down and only rescuers managed to take them out of the ravine.
Doctors say the health condition of Irakli Jakonia is particularly critical. He is in coma and connected to respirator.
Other students were interrogated by local police whole night yesterday. They rule out conflict between the two.
