Georgian Labour Party calls upon the Constitutional Commission to discuss the draft of amendments to constitution, which was proposed for consideration to the parliament in 2003.
The leader of the opposition party, Shalva Natelashvili he d a briefing today. He said the proposal was signed by 250,000 citizens of Georgia; however, its discussion was disrupted due to the Rose Revolution in 2003.
Natelashvili defined that the project stipulated that the amendments included growth of government`s responsibility in the medical insurance and the social sector.
Natelashvili said the parliament was obliged to discuss the package of the draft amendments to the constitution, asserting the document focused on the interests of the people of Georgia.
