President Giorgi Margvelashvili has
met with the ambassadors of EU in Georgia at a working dinner today. At the
meeting with European Diplomats, the president discussed preparatory works for
the period since the initiating of the EU Association Agreement until its final
ratification.
"We regularly hold meetings
with the EU ambassadors on the issues of ratification of EU Association
Agreement. At today’s meeting we discussed the ongoing processes. We talked
about the obligations and action plan, which the country will have after the
agreement is signed", - President said.
Parties also discussed the details
of providing EU assistance to Georgia and the issues, which are the most actual
among the international challenges.
The situation on Georgia’s occupied
territories was also mentioned at the meeting. The head of the state called
upon the international society once again to express their position and respond
to the decision of the Russian Federation about expanding its border into the
depth of occupied Abkhazia with 11 kilometers, reports GHN according to
President’s Press Office information.
