A
gunman has reportedly shot his way into a high school on the outskirts of
Moscow, taking more than 20 students hostage.
According to
police, a teacher and a police officer died in the incident, but the gunman –
an armed high school student – has been “neutralized”. The remaining hostages were said to have been released
shortly afterwards.
Russian
television reports are claiming the shooter is a student in the school, reports
GHN based on information released by Euronews.
A
police spokeswoman said a man entered the school with a rifle and shot a
