Government`s special working group created to assist conducting fair and free elections in Georgia, presented its preliminary results of its work at the press conference held on Wednesday. Head of the group and First Deputy Interior Minister Eka Zguladze held the briefing in the state chancellery.
Main object of the group is to protect rule of law at the elections, avoid use of administrative resources and prevent political discrimination. The head of the commission said any kind of complaint will be strictly responded.
Representatives of the group have already held meetings with NGOs, international missions and parliamentary inter faction group.
The local self-government election has been scheduled to be held in Georgia on May 30.
