Tbilisi City Hall has published an announcement
expressing their concerns addressed towards City Assembly “Georgian Dream’s” majority
who have been inactive and failed to offer any suggestions or remarks in
written form regarding budget of Tbilisi 2014 so far.
According to the statement Mayor’s Office fears
that such action might be a deliberate move of wasting time till 12 February (scheduled
date for budget hearing) that will turn into formality once again.
“With the prospect of approving Tbilisi
budget 2014 we express our readiness to work on 24 hour schedule with any
interesting party including City Assembly’s majority before the City Assembly planned
meeting on 12 February.” – mentioned the announcement, reports GHN.
