Gerogia’s Defence Minister Irakli Alasania declared that US will
be sponsoring inclusion of Georgia in NATO, mentioned Tabula.
According to Alasania, Georgian side will become a part of Immediate
Response Force from 2015.
“It has already been decided that Georgia will become a part of NATO’s
Immediate Response Force from 2015 and supporting state has been selected- this
will be US. We continue our readiness to take rapid response measures along
with NATO militaries in cases crisis arises. This means that by now our
cooperation has advanced to the new level”, - mentioned Irakli Alasania.
