According to MIA information, the
officers of Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a
result of operative-investigative activities detained deputy head of Kvareli
local government- Otar Adomlishvili for accepting bribe in especially large
quantities.
Investigation established that Otar
Adomlishvili, by means of misusing powers offered citizen to assist in
purchasing 744 931 square meters of land area in Aniseli village as well as in
lowering the price artificially. In return for the above mentioned Davit
Adomlishvili demanded 50 000 GEL as bribe from the citizen.
Investigation
is in progress on the fact of bribery, article 338, III part, sub-paragraph E
of the Criminal Code, envisaging from 11 to 15 years of imprisonment.
