According to MIA, Inter-agency meeting
between the Ministries of Defence and Internal Affairs was held at Defence
Ministry of Georgia. Minister of Defence Irakli Alasania hosted his colleague,
Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze. 4th working meeting was
also attended by Deputy Ministers of MoD and MIA, Chief of General Staff of GAF
and his deputies, Head of Counterintelligence Department and the top brass of
the both ministries. Ministers discussed the issues of coordinated crisis
management and spoke about deepening cooperation among the various units of the
both Ministries. Inter-agency meeting between MoD and MIA has been held for the
fourth time and will continue in the future.
