years have passed since 25 February, 1921 when Russian army occupied Democratic
Republic of Georgia and declared it as a Soviet State.
Georgia’s national flag has been lowered
above the Parliament building in Tbilisi with regard to soviet occupation day.
Employees of the parliament took part in
the ceremony. The event was not attended by government members and therefore,
no comments were made, reported InterpresNews.
Flags will be lowered in all of state
agency buildings today, including the Kutaisi Parliament building.
