Georgian Foreign Minister Maia
Panjikidze fears that 11 km security zone which was created by Russian side in
perspective of Sochi Olympic Games might not dissolve and stay as it is.
According to Foreign Minister the
doubts where coming from Russia’s recent actions with regard to resuming
installation of barbed wires the day after end of Sochi Olympic Games.
She also mentioned that within such
circumstances further provocations from Russia might be expected before Georgia
signs Association Agreement.
“Today’s events deepened our
doubts that Russia is preparing many provocations”.
“We have informed US side about
present events”
“US [state officials] fully support
territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.” - told Foreign Minister.
