Georgian
Defence Minister Irakli Alasania will participate in Defence Ministerial hosted
by NATO Headquaters which will take place on February 26- 27.
According to Ministry
of Defence’s information NATO Secretary General Anders Fog Rasmussen will give a
doorstep statement at the first day of the Defence Ministers’ Meeting. The
working sessions will focus on defence capacity building, cyber defence and
NATO-led ISAF mission in Afghanistan. The meeting of defence ministers with
ISAF contributing partners and the Afghan Defence Minister is on the agenda of
the second day of the Ministerial.
Within the framework of the Ministerial, Defence Minister of Georgia
will hold bilateral meetings with his Norwegian, Azerbaijanian and Afghan
counterparts.
