The Hospital Fatebenefratelli of Milan (Italy) and Tbilisi Central Hospital signed today an agreement of cooperation in Tbilisi.
The two hospitals will implement cooperation projects aimed at sharing and developing their expertise. The collaboration envisages training of Georgian doctors in Italy, as well as the furniture of Italian equipment to the Georgian hospital.
Ambassador of Italy to Georgia Federica Favi attended the signing ceremony.
She highlighted the importance of the agreement, which consolidates the partnership among Italian and Georgian health institutions.
Milan is located in the northern Italian region of Lombardy, whose healthcare system is considered one of the most advanced in the world.
