According to Kadagidze, ex-president rejected the demand of the family to probe into death circumstances of Zhvania. She accused Saakashvili of telling the lie, and explained that during the meetings with Saakashvili after Zhvania's death, talks were held about reasons of death.

Kadagidze said Saakashvili mentioned money in different context. She said the family suspected that a large amount of money could have served as one of the reasons of Zhvania's death.

"Wife of Zhvania (referring to Zurab Zhvania, former prime minister of Georgia) told me 2 days before his death that she wanted to return the money that Zura had been given," Mikheil Saakashvili, former president said in an interview with Rustavi-2 TV Company on March 25.

Georgia's ex-president recalled the details of his meeting with former prime minister's wife Nino Kadagidze after Zhvania's death. According to Saakashvili, she suspected that one of the security guards could have taken the money belonging to her husband.
