Georgia`s second president, Eduard Shevardnadze will be buried on July 13th, Sunday. The special commission and the family have already agreed that the civil funerals will be held at the Holy Trinity Cathedral since Friday; however, it is still to be decided where the late president will be buried.
The burial commission set up urgently on Monday met yesterday to discuss the details of the ceremony, which will be attended by the delegations from various countries. The organization issues will be managed and funded by the government of Georgia.
Eduard Shevardnadze died at the age 86 after long illness yesterday.
