The family of Sandro Girgvliani, a 26 year-old bank employ, killed by four officers in 2006, demands the interrogation of the wife of that-time interior minister, Tako Salakaia and Sandro`s friend Tatia Maisuradze, as the testimony given by one of the convicts on this case, has changed the facts of the investigation completely.
`They need to be questioned again and not only questioned, I believe that they can be brought to justice,` Giorgi Enukidze, Sandro Girgvliani`s uncle told Rustavi2.
He also demands that those former authorities, who were accused by Melnikov at the previous trial as the participants of the murder, should be also charged for another crime.
`New charges should be filed against them, because, in fact, their participation in the crime has been confirmed. Since the murder, they have bee facilitating the process of forging the investigation and everything was concluded by the president`s pardon of the convlicts,` Giorgi Enukidze said.
