The delegation of the Lithuanian legislative government headed by the speaker, Irena Degutiene pays a two-day working visit to Georgia. The delegation will meet with Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili and the speaker of Georgian parliament, Davit Bakradze.
`I am very happy to be in Tbilisi on the days of Georgia`s independence. We are your supporters. I was very glad to see that Georgia is absolutely different from what it was earlier,` the Lithuanian speaker has said.
The delegation visited the Vilnius Square in Tbilisi. Later today, the Lithuanian lawmakers will visit the Saint Trinity Cathedral and the Children`s Mental Health Centre in Tbilisi later today.
