The president of the Georgian Football Federation has denied the reports about his resignation. Zviad Sitchinava says the rumours about his appointment as he governor of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Region were groundless and that he planned to expire his term to the end, on 2011. Sitchinava says even after the end of his term as the president of the GFF, he ruled out his possible move into politics.
