Germany has sent military forces to support NATO's eastern border. According to the reports 160 German soldiers were dispatched in NATO military base in Estonia (Emari airdrome), they together with Portuguese, Canadian and Netherlander soldiers will control the air space of the Baltic states, reports GHN.
Till the end of the week additional 4 aircrafts will be sent to Estonia.
According to the report released by dw.de "the mission that picks up the baton from Danish soldiers will last four month."
Reinforcement of NATO eastern borders became necessary after the beginning of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Estonia, Lithuania and Poland express growing concern towards possible aggression of Russia.
