Is this truth or lie? - "Anaklia Energy" will finance construction of gas electro station in Armenia-, this is the title of article of Azerbaijanian edition "Echo" that discusses the issue of construction of electro station of Armenia, reports GHN.
As it turns out this energetic object (near Metsamori) will be more powerful than active nuclear power plant and the constructions will be financed by the company "Anaklia Energy" with 600 million dollars. The export of the energy will be realized by the same company.
"The most interesting thing is that Anaklia is Georgian city, black sea port, but there is little information about the company. On this background attention is paid to the fact that during the visit of Prime Minister of Georgia in Armenia there was discussed the subject of modernization and construction of high voltage transmission lines in Armenia," reports the edition quoting on information of Armenian media.
While commenting on this information expert of economics Oktai Akhverdies states to the correspondent of "Echo" that information about construction of electric station can be lie:
"Armenians very often believe in lies. May be this is the reason that after visit of Irakli Garibashvili in Armenia there was spread such kind of information. It is impossible because Georgia doesn't have such kind of financial possibilities: the foreign debt of our neighbor is equal to the domestic production capacity. The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibasvhili needed to make positive statement. I don't think that Georgian side will be able to invest such kind of big sum in economy of Armenia; simply Georgians would support their economy. They have already borrowed money from many countries and Azerbaijan is between them. May be Armenians are going to build gas power plant with the money that Russia gave them two years ago for construction of additional blocks of nuclear power plant."
According to Oktai Akhverdiev "the information of Armenian media is not serious, but we have to unveil their lie to answer. The Armenian radio was busy with jokes only, so as I see Armenians use the same tactics right now."
