Defence Minister of Georgia left for a working visit to the Republic of France. Irakli Alasania will hold meeting with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian at Ministry of Defence of France tomorrow, reports GHN based on Ministry of Internal Affairs
Ministers will discuss the details of bilateral cooperation in defence sphere. NATO-led international mission in Afghanistan and EUFOR-RCA, as well as upcoming NATO Summit in Wales will be one of the main topics of the meeting. Within the two-day long visit to France, meeting with Director for Strategic Affairs of Ministry of Defence of France Philippe Errera is also scheduled. Chief of General Staff of the GAF, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze and Deputy Defence Minister Varlam Avaliani are the members of the Georgian MoD delegation headed by Minister Irakli Alasania.
