GHN offers the original version of the statement of the Prime Minster of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili:
"We are extremely concerned by the information about direct military aggression in eastern regions of Ukraine.
It is necessary for everyone to respect sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, also its right to establish order and to provide with protection of human right and freedom of every citizen and their merited future on whole territory of Ukraine.
International community must not allow large scale confrontation and changing of borders by force. There is need of effort to establish peace and stability in Ukraine.
Once again Georgia firmly supports sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in its internationally recognized borders.
We consider that exactly taking into account these principles should be settled difficult situation in Ukraine," reads the statement of the Prime Minister.
