We are very concerned and closely observe the events in Ukraine; of course the situation in Ukraine of absolutely unacceptable and inappropriate, stated the Prime Minister of Georgia while commenting of the theme with journalists, reports GHN.
With the statement of the leader of the government international community have to do everything to restore peace and stability in Ukraine.
"We will help Ukraine in terms of our possibilities- to help with humanitarian aid or other. I sent the Minister of Health several days ago, he will learn the existing situation and after this we will decide what kind of measures to take to help Ukraine by sending medicaments, to bring wounded citizens in Georgia, their rehabilitation or other," stated the Prime Minister. ‘Irakli Garibasvhili also made comment about NATO Wales Summit and stated that Georgian government worked intensively during last year to reach maximum result.
"As you know has been designed package. The government did maximum and I was involved in this process. During last two weeks I had telephone conversations with Vice President of USA, Chancellor of Germany, President of France, Prime minister of Netherlands. We were working during whole year to reach maximum. Of course conjuncture should be taken into account and Europeans pay attention to it. We have full support from countries I mentioned above and we are waiting to receive adequate estimation on NATO summit," stated Irakli Garibashvili.
The leader of Georgian government also talked about his visit in Turkey and statedd that he is going to travel to Ankara for an official visit.
"I had short conversation with Mr. Erdogan and plan to travel to Turkey for official visit. Also we want to invite Mr. Erdogan in Georgia. Turkey is our strategic partner, accordingly we need close and active cooperation in every direction. My visit was confirmation of this," stated the Prime Minister.
Irakli Garibashvili also expressed satisfaction concerning arrangement of Embassy of Georgia in Turkey and stated that collaborators of diplomatic representation have motivation for successful activity.
