Spanish Police detained head of the Georgian organized crime band formation - Shakro Kalashov. Spanish Police performed its duties after the Georgian side applied with demand for extradition of Kalashov to Georgia. Members of Georgian delegation - Tina Burjaliani, Deputy Justice Minister and Eka Zguladze, deputy Interior Minister, being in Spain demanded the extradition. Week ago, the Spanish Court sentenced Kalashov for 7.5 years of imprisonment for money laundering and fined him for EUR 20 mn. But the sanction was not executed until now.
