I am proud of with progress that we reached in the system of justice and in reforming whole government, - said the Prime Minister of Georgia while delivering speech to the members of International Leader Forum, that is managed by the Research Institute of Economic Politics and Stanford Center of Democracy, Development and Rule of Law, reports GHN.
The leader of the government represented his point of view to the participants of the forum about the democratic development of the country and explained that first time in the history Georgia has the government that is chosen through free elections and the main part of the government officials are human rights activists and former diplomats.
"We have identified the key areas that need immediate reforms -to restore the rule of law; developing independent court and democratic institutes; protecting fundamental right and freedom of human, holding free and fair elections; elimination of impunity of officials," stated the Prime Minister.
Irakli Garibasvhili talked in details about reforms implemented in every direction and explained that strengthening of the system of justice and democratic institutes, also protection of human rights of minorities is one of the main priorities of the government.
