Georgian government has not forgotten the reality and it plans to make adequate response to the problem of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics - deputy minister of foreign affairs, Davit Jalaghania announced at the briefing today. Deputy Minister defined that Olympic Games were independent from politics; however, the Sochi games had different significance after the 2008 Russian aggression against Georgia.
`The organizers have serious problems. Several protests were held in Sochi too; the key problem is obtaining inert materials from the Black Sea coast, which is threat to eco system. We will have serious response to the fact because we are not away from the reality,` Jalaghania said.
Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin arrives in Sochi today, where he will meet with the president of the international Olympic committee.
