Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Erkki Tuomioja. The parties discussed the relations between the two countries and multilateral cooperation issues, reports GHN based on Press service of Prime Minister.
As it was noted during the meeting Finland welcomes Georgia's Euro integration process and development of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation within the Eastern partnership.
The parties spoke about the regional security issues, in particular the current crisis of Ukraine.
They also discussed the perspectives of deepening economic relations. In addition issues in cultural-educational and ecological fields were discussed.
The head of the government of Georgia thanked the minister of foreign affairs of Finland for the policy of Georgian territorial integrity and non-recognition of occupied territories.
