"I have friendship relations with Edi Rama," answered ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakasvhili on the question of correspondent of telegraph-informational agency on Albania if it is possible that he will be appointed as advisor of the Prime Minister of Albania, reports GHN.
"Albania and Georgia are friendly countries. I and Edi Rama are fiends institutionally and personally, though I will not be advisor of the Prime Minister," stated Mikheil Saakashvili.
"Edi Rama is energetic and strong leader... he intends to make reforms that is already implemented in Georgia against corruption and criminal. I believe that he will reach success in shorter period of time as it happened in Georgia," stated ex-president.
As MIkheil Saakashvili said Albania and Georgia has to find common points for collaboration: "our countries are similar in many areas, our GDP volume is the same too... that's why the collaboration should be developed in spheres that will be interesting for both countries," stated ex-president of Georgia.
Mikheil Saakshvili was the president of Georgia from January 2004 till November 2014. His name is associated with the fight against corruption and criminality. In 2004 Georgia took 107th place due to the fight against corruption; while residency of Mikheil Saakashvili country reached one of the best results. He carried out deep social-economic reforms, also in educational sphere. As Mikheil Saakashvili said that he changed old way thinking in young people that made them to love western democracy.
