The Minister of Defense held bilateral meeting with Secretary of State of Defense of United Kingdom Michael Fallon, reports GHN.
The sides discussed issues of deepening bilateral collaboration in the sphere of defense between Georgia and Great Britain. They also talked about regional security and crisis of Ukraine.
The main theme of the meeting was integration of Georgia in Euro Atlantic structures. The sides paid attention on the importance of the package of "enhanced cooperation" that will receive Georgia on the Summit. Irakli Alasania thanked his British counterpart for the support in integration in NATO.
The bilateral meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and Secretary of State for Defense of United Kingdom was held on the frame of Wales NATO Summit. The meeting was attended by chief of staff of armed forces, General Major Vakhtang Kapanadze and the Minister of European and Euro Atlantic Integration Aleksi Petriashvili.
