You can't forget war on your territory,- said the President of Georgia Giorgi Magvelashvili while commenting about 2008 war while talking with BBC, reports GHN.
As the journalist of BBC said the events of Ukraine and 2008 Russian-Georgian war are different things and they can't be paralleled to each other. As he said when the war begun of South Ossetia and Abkhazia the report of European Union fact-finding commission in 2009 September accused Georgia.
"I don't think that they "accused Georgia" and first of all it was not verdict. It was fact finding commission, they described what happened and there is all kind of different attitude about the details of the case. But this is fact that: the events of Georgia and Ukraine are part of the politics of Russian politicians. They talk about their right to decide the fate of independent nations... we are talking about details, who what did. It is not changing the picture- you can't forget war on your territory, did war begin on your territory? It is impossible," -stated Margvelashvili.
