NATO Defence Ministerial will open in Brussels in a few hours. In the frames of the ministerial, the session of the NATO-Georgia commission will be held on Friday. Minister of Defence of Georgia, Bacho Akhalaia will attend the session in deliver a speech. After the commission, Georgian Minister will also participate in the meeting of the defence ministers of NATO non-member states, who are involved in the Afghanistan peace mission.
Georgian MPs say the session of the NATO-Georgia commission is very important especially after the recent statements by the Secretary General. Anders Fogh Rasmussen said a few days ago that Georgian Defence Minister would hear once again in Brussels these days that the NATO door was still open for Georgia.
