The President of Georgia held meeting in the frame of NATO Summit with the President of European Council Herman Van Rompuy and the President of Euro commission Jose Manuel Barroso, reports GHN.
The sides discussed the issues of relations between Georgia and European Union and talked about perspectives of integration. They talked about implementation of Association Agreement. The President of Georgia underlined importance of the ratification of the agreement by the Euro Parliament and member countries of European Union. As Giorgi Margvelashvili stated there is important to share the experience of European countries for maximum effectiveness of the agreement. The special attention was paid to deep and comprehensive free trade agreement and also development of the relations in this direction.
While talking attention was paid to the regional security issues. The sides paid attention to the crisis of Ukraine, also situation in occupied regions and relations between Georgia and Russia.
