The wife of a Georgian national who has been in the captivity of the South Ossetia puppet regime for the past 16 months, was allowed to meet her husband with the help of the European Commissioner for Human Rights and the Red Cross mediation in the negotiations with the separatists.
Davit Kapanadze disappeared 16 months ago and his family knew nothing about his whereabouts. The occupant forces arrested the brother of the Prone Valley governor, Goneri Kapanadze then and charged him with the illegal crossing of the so-called borders of S. Ossetia. Goneri Kapanadze is the member of the Georgian delegation who participates in the Geneva international consultations for Caucasus. arguably this is the reason why the occupant regime delays his release. Four other people were also arrested together with Davit Kapanadze, but all of them were released briefly, while Kapanadze is still held in Tskhinvali prison.
