Ukraine's representative at the negotiations of the Trilateral Contact Group, former President Leonid Kuchma, has said that he has come to Minsk for peace, reports GHN based on Ukrinform.
He told this to journalists before a meeting of the contact group involving Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE.
"We have come to Minsk for peace. As far as Ukraine is concerned, there are no warnings against signing this document. If all parties have the same attitude, we should definitely sign [documents]," Kuchma said, speaking of the possible signing of documents on the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine.
He also added that the issue concerned immediate ceasefire, "not today, then tomorrow."
