US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel confirms that USA discusses to provide Georgia with defensive armament, reports GHN.
On the press conference held in the Ministry of Defense Chuck Hagel stated that the collaboration with Georgia in defensive sphere will be continued and will be more intensive.
"I think I stated clearly in my statement that collaboration in defense sphere will be continued and will be more intensive. I and the Minister (I.Alasania) discussed our future steps to give Georgia helicopters. We actively work on this subject," stated US Defense Secretary.
